I just read your essay on the Guardian's website and it struck a chord. I'm in the process of taking over as Youth Director at my synagogue in the NYC suburbs and have been looking for accessible readings about the similarities between Jews and Muslims for my high school students. I wanted to let you know that I'm going to be passing your piece along to my charges in the not-too-distant future, and that I hope they enjoy reading and thinking about it as much as I have. Keep up the great work!
